Today our Savior went to the Cross. Today our Lord was tortured like a criminal. Today our God took our sins upon himself and died the death we were meant to. Today this Jesus was buried in a tomb. Today the light faded and the curtain was torn in two.
Today everything seemed to have ended.
But for those who know the story, and know what happens next, they know that this day was meant to be. That this day had to happen. Today our Lord and Savior took our sins so that we may we washed white as snow and that we would be able to enter into His presence and have everlasting life.
Today is a Good Friday.
